German Industry 4.0 experts offer effective solutions for Taizhou enterprises.

The Future Expert Group plans to relocate its team to Taizhou and establish a company there from May 21 to May 23. On this occasion, Dr. Marpobi Gaudatz, President of Exio GmbH and an expert in Germany’s Industry 4.0 initiative, along with Dr. Heilbisi Johannes, were invited to our city to deliver a three-day enterprise diagnostic service program. In April 2016, Taizhou officially joined the China-Germany Industrial Cities Alliance, becoming one of the alliance’s inaugural member cities. In January 2017, a special exchange meeting on Sino-German business cooperation was grandly held in Taizhou, marking the official establishment of the China-Germany (Taizhou) Industrial Cooperation Park. Later that same year, in April 2017, Taizhou made a prominent appearance at the Hannover Industrial Fair, further solidifying its position within the China-Germany Industrial Cities Alliance.

In recent years, our city has actively engaged in China-Germany cooperation, particularly deepening exchanges as we accelerate the development of a benchmark Industry 4.0 factory and smart city initiatives in our region.

Taizhou enterprises: Have an urgent need for intelligent technologies

Eksio Corporation is a large international IT and management consulting firm with extensive, years of experience in areas such as corporate strategy planning, as well as IT project planning and implementation.

At a critical moment for Taizhou to deepen its industrial transformation and upgrading, the visit of German experts to share their expertise and insights comes at just the right time.

On May 23, the expert group carried out service activities at Leo Group Co., Ltd.

Last September, Leo Group had its first interaction with German experts.

“At that time, we hoped German experts would assist us in MES systems, IT system integration, security protection, and IT organizational expansion. Subsequently, they provided us with operational recommendations aimed at ensuring our competitiveness through the implementation of Industry 4.0,” said Wan Yongliang, Deputy General Manager of Leo Group. He added that, based on Leo’s own specific circumstances, they selectively adopted these suggestions.

Over the past year, Leo has improved its IT system protection and storage systems, and has also made corresponding plans for IT system integration, taking a significant step forward on the path toward Industry 4.0.

"But to truly achieve Industry 4.0, relying solely on the assistance of German experts isn't enough—companies must develop their own independent R&D capabilities and be able to solve challenges on their own," said Wan Yongliang.

"‘This time, our main focus is to clarify the requirements once again, and we also want to understand which specific issues the experts can help LiO resolve, as well as what kind of outcomes we can achieve. After conducting an evaluation, we’ll decide whether to proceed with further collaboration,’ said Wan Yongliang."

During the visit to Jack Holding Group on May 22, Chairman Nguyen Phuc Duc stated, "According to German standards, our production lines cover all levels—from Industry 1.0 to 3.0. If we collaborate with German experts, our primary hope is that they’ll provide assistance at the manufacturing level, enabling us to achieve greater profitability."

"We plan to achieve full automation by the second half of next year, covering areas such as equipment, management, and logistics," said Ruan Fude.

Meanwhile, Ye Jinwu, Chairman of Zhejiang Jinlong Motor Co., Ltd., another partnering enterprise, expressed his hope that German experts could provide a solution to conduct a "diagnosis" for their company.

German expert: Choosing Taizhou as the first destination for cooperation

Previously, the expert group had conducted promotional events on Industry 4.0 in places such as Beijing, Yinchuan, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, but ultimately chose Taizhou as the first stop for their collaboration.

"Taizhou boasts robust manufacturing capabilities and a vibrant private economy—we are optimistic about its future development," said Mr. Ma Bobi.

"Taizhou entrepreneurs want us to diagnose and assess their businesses, but I don’t think they’re patients—they’re healthy athletes. All we need to do is help them become faster, higher, and stronger," Ma Bobi said.

Mabo Bi stated that Industry 4.0 is not just about automation—it also encompasses various aspects such as sales and management.

"To effectively help businesses solve their challenges, Axio Corporation has also developed a preliminary vision for its collaboration model. 'We need to fully understand each company in order to deliver tailored solutions,' said Haier Bixi. 'In the next step, we’ll send our expert team to work onsite with the company’s management and technical staff for two to three weeks. By immersing ourselves in their daily operations and gaining deep insights into their current situation and specific needs, our professionals will then carefully evaluate the information before presenting a customized solution.'"

Mabobi also stated that they are considering collaborating with some companies in Taizhou, combining German technology with Taizhou’s localized resources to better serve businesses. "We plan to relocate our team to Taizhou, and if all aspects proceed smoothly, we may establish a company there as early as September."
